Hi, I’m Talia!
I spent the last two years working at Hipcamp, a two-sided marketplace for booking campsites on private land. I managed our awesome design team in addition to leading the Hosting side of the business.
Prior to Hipcamp, I was a product designer at Yahoo, with my work focusing on Yahoo Sports and Yahoo Mail. There, I led the Yahoo Sports design team and the Yahoo Design Associate Program for emerging design graduates.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, I spent four years bearing the cold at the University of Michigan (go blue!) and returned to California in San Francisco where I lived for 6 years. When life slowed down during the pandemic, I was craving the liveliness of a big city and moved to New York where I have been enjoying living in Brooklyn with my husband for the last two years.
In my free time I love traveling, hiking, attending concerts, eating my way through new cities, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. I am also ~99% extraverted and value my time with friends and family more than just about anything!
